What's behind the scenes?
Who’s behind the camera?
What’s behind the curtain?
Things are confusing in these narrow, darker, increasingly dark topos that already tend to be called "meta" space. The project “Feeling Cute, Might Delete Later” includes 7 artworks, inspired by the ubiquity of social media and the inextricably woven moment of “What’s behind the scenes”? What is behind our intimate curtain, our emotional complex in the moments when we network on social media? What is that dark, confusing moment in the mise-en-scene of our minds when we decide to somehow reflect the supposed happiness, the huge whim that we, only we, are living at the moment? The tendency of social media and the open space for any manipulation is infinite. But where did all this come from?
And where does it all go? That dark space of twistedness, emotional fragmentation, and ultimately – loneliness which none of us talk about, that's where the "Feeling cute, might delete later" project starts.
