"An Elegy In Five Breaths" is a dance theater based on motifs from verses of poetry by Radovan Pavlovski, Petre M. Andreevski, Mihail Rendzhov, Aco Shopov, and Nikola Madzirov. The transformation of poetry as an art form that uses language to achieve aesthetic qualities and deepen its semantic content, transformed into a dance performance, is the main task of the director and choreographer. The performance contains five pieces (five breaths) that aim to create a universally understandable stage language, captured through a multidisciplinary approach to preparation and performance through a combination of multiple media of stage expression such as dance, narration, and physical theater.
